Exemple :

• Prevention is better than treatment

... (more)adjective + than... if the adjective has more than 2 syllabes

Exemple :
• Rock music is more energic than Jazz
• This sport car has more powerfull engine than its competitor

Superlative Degrees

...the + adjective (est) if the adjective has 1 - 2 syllabes

Exemple :
• Jaya Wijaya is the highest montain in Indonesia
• This Award is the best I have ever got

... the + (most) adjective if the adjective has more than 2 syllabes

Exemple :
• He becomes the most successful person in his family
• I think his painting are the most beautiful ones in this painting exhibition
